D'origine tchadienne Thomté Ryam a 28 ans. Il a grandi à Dreux et à Cergy. Pensionnaire des centres de formation du PSG et de Caen, il a ensuite été médiateur à Champigny-sur-Marne (Bois l’Abbé). En 2005 il a publié un roman, Banlieue noire (avec une préface de Lilian Thuram), aux Éditions Présence Africaine.  Il prépare un second roman.
